Mandatory Water Conservation, The Stephanie Younger Real Estate Update
by Stephanie Younger
Did you know? Southern California is facing a water supply shortage for the third year in a row. As a result, more water conservation is urgently needed. And mandatory water conservation has come to our neighborhood!
Beginning June 1, shortage year rates will become effective and will be applied to all Los Angeles DWP customers and homeowners. This includes the neighborhoods of Westchester, Playa del Rey, Marina del Rey and Playa Vista. Also, sprinkler use will be restricted to Mondays and Thursdays only.
Below is an article from the Los Angeles Times detailing addressing some of the frequently asked questions that pertain to this water conservation measure, including information on how this will affect your home and your neighborhood.
